Tempe High Class '72 Reunion, 21-22 April 2017

Picture
THS 45 year Reunion Update and THANK YOU from Mesquite Beetle!

The Reunion was a fantastic success and I wanted to update the Mesquite Beetle Reunion Page to pass on the Winning Bidders for the Silent Auction. You'll find the winners listed below with the auction item. I really wanted to provide the names of all the Door Prize winners, but the number of wonderful gifts was unprecedented. So if you couldn't make it this year, rest assured you missed out on an incredible time.

On a personal note I want to thank all the people that worked so hard for over a year to making this reunion so successful and fun. Starting with Deb Renner and the Reunion Committee: Carol Harper, Doug and Jacque Fair, Anne Marquis McKeeman, Marianne Courter Randall, Lori Oltman Hostetler, Rick Dale, Randy Boles, and Pat Whelan. We all salute you for a job well done!

I also wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful compliments on my wood turnings donated by "Mesquite Beetle". Particularly those who won the auction pieces and door prizes. It was heartwarming to see the enthusiasm during the auction and spend a little time with each winner talking specifics about each piece. To a person, I knew each and every piece was going to a "Good Home" and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with everyone. Again thanks so much for the kind words, I was truly touched.
I also have a special thank you to Marianne and her good friend Lynn for the beautiful glasses with "Mesquite Beetle" etched on them. Miss Pam and I were very honored and moved.

What can I say about those that pitched in above and beyond the call to help make the time at the Casitas a blast for everyone. Special thanks to; Doug and Jacque, Chuck and Deana, Melba, Marianne, Gale...You made the mornings, evenings, and late late nights a hoot.
